| Alan Fletcher (born 30 March 1957 in Perth, Western Australia) is an Australian actor, best known today for his role as Dr Karl Kennedy in long-running soap opera Neighbours. Alan Fletcher is also in a band called Waiting Room with other members including Tommy Rando and Chris Hawker. They toured the UK during May and June of 2005, and again in November 2005. With a handful of their own songs they incorporate a selection of cover versions into their set, including a medley which starts as Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, and ends as The Killers' Mr. Brightside. Fletcher's wife is Jennifer Hansen, a Network Ten Melbourne newsreader, and they have 2 children, Veronica and Tom.
