Alessandra de Rossi is an Italian-Filipino actress and the younger sister of Assunta de Rossi.

She was once a follower from the showbiz shadow of her older sister. However, her genuine ability to act out-shined Assunta eventually. Therefore, her career took off after great and critically acclaimed portrayal in different drama films including "Mga Munting Tinig" (Small Voices) and "Homecoming" as a Canadian-based OFW who came home to the Philippines for a visit bringing the deadly disease SARS which she spreads in the rural town that she was living in.

Following great performances, Alessandra won the part of Valentina, the villain as opposed to the protagonist Darna/Narda played by Angel Locsin in the fantasy based series in GMA network in 2005. The show won big ratings during primetime schedule at night earning her additional attention in her performance. She was the show stealer in the series as she tried to steal the protagonist's lover Efren eventhough she was Darna's cousin.

Alessandra's latest offering was the Singaporean based horror film "The Maid" where she played the main character, Rosa as the housemaid in Singapore. The film was a box office hit both locally and in neighbouring Asian countries making Alessandra even more popular. This to many serves as proof that Alessandra is no ordinary actress who is only famous for being Assunta's little sister but because of her ability to act, perform and play various characters effectively.
