| Alex Cord is an American actor who is perhaps best known for portraying the role of Archangel on the television series Airwolf. Born May 3, 1933 in Floral Park, Long Island, New York, Cord's first role of note was in the 1962 movie The Chapman Report. Cord is also known to science fiction enthusiasts for having portrayed Dylan Hunt in the 1973 tv pilot Genesis II which was created by Gene Roddenberry.
