| Alex Greenwald (born October 9, 1979, Los Angeles, California) is the lead singer of Californian band Phantom Planet. He is a former model for The Gap and has acted in the past. He had a part in Donnie Darko. He started the band when he was in his teens with two friends: ex-band member Jason Schwartzman and guitarist Darren Robinson.
