| Alice Lake (September 12, 1895–November 15, 1967) was an American actress. She was born in Brooklyn, New York. Her screen debut was in 1912, and she appeared in a number of comedy shorts by Mack Sennett. During the 1920s she appeared in a number of Metro silent film features as the lead actress. She had only limited success in dramatic roles, and was never considered a true star in the business. In 1925 she was married to fellow actor Robert Williams, but they were divorced in 1926. Following the introduction of talkies, her parts in films began to wane and she only performed in supporting roles. Her last appearance in film was in 1935. Alice died in Hollywood, California as the result of a heart attack. She is buried at the Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park in North Hollywood. She has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
