| Allen Payne (born July 7 1968 in Harlem, New York, USA) is an African-American film and television actor. Allen got his first exposure to television in 1990 on the sitcom The Cosby Show, and in 1992 the sitcom A Different World. Over the course of 2 seasons, he made several appearances portraying "Lance Rodman". Allen has appeared in many films, including New Jack City and Jason's Lyric. He has also studied dance.
