Alyson Renae Michalka, credited as Aly Michalka (born March 25, 1989 in Torrance, California, USA), is an American actress and a singer-songwriter best known for her role on Phil of the Future as Keely Teslow.

Biography

Michalka started acting when she was five years old, mostly in church productions. Her debut came when she received the part of Keely Teslow in Disney Channel's Phil of the Future. Michalka later starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie, Now You See It..., in which she plays Allyson Miller, an ambitious television producer who is trying to find the next great young magician. She has a younger sister, Amanda Michalka, who is also an actress. Alyson and Amanda enjoy writing songs, which landed them a record deal with Hollywood Records. Many of their songs have been featured in movies and television shows: "Do You Believe in Magic?" from the Disney Channel Original Movie Now You See It, "No One" from Ice Princess
, "Protecting Me" from Phil of the Future, "Walking On Sunshine" from Herbie: Fully Loaded
, and "Rush" from the Disney Channel Original Movie Twitches
. Michalka and her sister AJ have recently completed a tour with the Cheetah Girls.
