Amiel Daemion or just Amiel (born c. 1981) is an Australian singer who began her international singing career at age 9 with a haunting ecology song: "What About the Children?" - a plea to save the rainforests of Brazil for the children of the world. Her first film (at age 12), 1993's The Silver Brumby starred Russell Crowe and Caroline Goodall.

She then went to Elwood High School where she gained much inspiration for future albums dealing with the pain of love.

However, her biggest step into stardom came when she contributed to the vocals Josh Abrahams/Puretone's song, "Addicted To Bass" (peaking at #15 on the Australian ARIAnet Singles Chart under the first name in 1999, and recharting in the top 100 under the second name with more remixes in 2002. This version also debuted and peaked at #2 on the UK Singles Chart.) She also contributed to songs on the Moulin Rouge soundtrack.

She then has some solo releases. Her first solo album Audio Out had sales of over 100,000 in Australia, and peaked at #19 on the ARIAnet Album Charts in 2003. Three singles were released from the album that year in Australia. They were "Lovesong" (peaking at #6), "Obsession (I Love You)" (peaking at #15) and "Tonight" (peaking at #64). The album also had some success in japan, selling over 60,000 copies.

In 2005 she also featured on The Blips' song "Green Eyed World", featured on the soundtrack of the film Hating Alison Ashley. In addition, she released an electroclash cover of the Split Enz song "One Step Ahead" on the Finn brothers tribute album She Will Have Her Way.

Her second album, These Ties was released on 19 October 2005 in Japan and 6 February 2006 in Australia. It contains the singles "Round and Round" and "Be Your Girl".

Amiel was interviewed by the Vainquer Teens website in 2004.

Amiel has also appeared on the Australian TV series Raw FM.
