Andy Ansah is an English football player and actor (sort of). He is known for portraying a player/assistant manager also named Andy Ansah on the fictional Harchester United football team on the television series Dream Team. In addition, he has served as a football consultant or football choreographer for other television series and films.

Dream Team plot

On Dream Team, Ansah first joined Harchester United as a player in 1999. After his retirement he became assistant manager of Harchester for 6 years. However, when Karl Fletcher became acting manager in 2005 whilst Don Barker was recovering from heart problems, he resigned, sick of being passed over for the job of manager yet again, mainly because he's a really rubbish actor. This lack of acting skills while mantaining a constant presence in Dream Team has led him to become a cult figure among many fans.
