Actors - Ann Williams

Ann Williams (May 18, 1932 – August 7, 1985) was an American soap opera actress. She was born in Washington, D.C.

Among her notable soap roles (such as stints on The Doctors as the first Dr. Maggie Fielding; and The Edge of Night, in which she played television station owner, Margo Huntington Dorn), her most memorable is a decade-long stint as head character Joanne's sister, Eunice, on Search for Tomorrow (1966-1976). Her character was a vixen at first, but she reformed when she found the man who truly loved her. However, that happiness was relatively short-lived, as she was shot by her deceiving husband's mistress. The writers of Search informed Williams that she would be written out of the show, and was killed off in this manner.

Her last soap role was as alcoholic June Slater on Loving, a role which reunited, if for a short time, Williams and her former Search co-star, John Cunningham.

When Ann Williams died, she was battling cancer.
