| Annette Mills (1894-1955) was a British dancer, actress and broadcaster. She was born as Mabel Mills in Chelsea, London in 1894 and died from a heart attack in 1955, at age 61. She is fondly remembered for being the partner of the puppet "Muffin", in the successful BBC Television series "Muffin the Mule" between 1946-1955. Her younger brother Sir John Mills became a successful actor and her grand daughter is the actress Susie Blake.
