Annie Ross (born 25 July, 1930) is a jazz singer, best known as a member of the trio Lambert, Hendricks & Ross. She has also had an extensive solo career, both singing and appearing in a number of movies.

Ross was born in Surrey, England as Annabelle Short.

She is one of the early practitioners of a singing style known as vocalese, which involves the setting of original lyrics to an instrumental jazz solo. Her 1952 treatment of saxophonist Wardell Gray's "Twisted" is the classic example of vocalese.

She appeared in the 1983 movie Superman III
