| Anton Rodgers (born 10 January 1933, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire) is a British actor. He is best known for his television performances, specifically his long-running roles in the television sitcoms Fresh Fields and May to December. However, he has also had a long career as a dramatic actor and has appeared in films such as The Fourth Protocol (1987) and Scrooge (1970) (in which he performs the song "Thank You Very Much" while dancing on Scrooge's coffin). He is married to the actress Elizabeth Garvie, whom he met while filming the 1982 drama series, Something in Disguise. They have often appeared on stage together. Selected work
