| Antony Cotton (born August 5 1975, Bury, Lancashire, United Kingdom) is a British actor best known for his roles in Queer as Folk (playing Alex) and Coronation Street (playing barman Sean Tully). Antony had a small speaking part in the fourth series of Absolutely Fabulous working for Edina's PR company. He attended Oldham Theatre Workshop for ten years. In 2005, he won the Most Popular Newcomer category at the National Television Awards for his role in Coronation Street. As an openly gay man himself, he has a big role in setting Sean's flamboyant character - several pieces of dialogue are believed to have been coined by him.
