Arvind Swamy (MBA, IIM-A) is a popular former Tamil actor. He is now chairman and managing director of ProLease India and InterPro India.

Recently his wife has applyed for divorce and they have two daughters.

Film Career

His debut in movies was Mani Ratnam's Thalapathi
. His first film as lead hero was Mani Ratnam's film Roja. The movie was a hit through out the country and Arvind Swamy's impressive performance established his position as an actor. He is very selective about his roles. Though he has acted in lesser number of movies most of them are hits and rated high by film critics. He has acted in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. His hits include Roja, Bombay, Minsaara Kanavu, Indira, Devaraagam, En Svasa Kattre etc.
