Ashleigh Middleton (b. September 15, 1994) played the character Sophie Webster in Coronation Street from her birth until the age of three.

Ashleigh left the street on the last in first out basis, when the producer was changed to Brian Park he decided to change all the children to older more experienced actors who were able to play speaking parts.All the children in the street have now been changed and all the replacement actors are older than the original children.ashleigh has now stopped acting in order to concentrate more on her schoolwork,she now playes football for a local girls team and also playes the flute for a manchester band.she was born in crumpsall,manchester.She is in her last year in primary school and is hoping to attend a highschool in bury.
