Asia Agcaoíli is a Filipino actress, model, and TV and radio host. Accidentally revealing her left breast in MTB, a variety show in the Philippines, sometime in March 2003, Agcaoíli was suspended from MTB for 20 days by the staunchly conservative Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).

A graduate of the University of the Philippines, Agcaoíli was born on September 20 in Isabela, Philippines. She is part of the second wave of the group Viva Hotbabes. She is widely seen to epitomize the strong-minded, confident, liberated, modern Filipino female.

An eloquent speaker of English, she is often characterized as very frank and unafraid to speak her mind. She is a DJ with Magic 89.9 and also an advice columnist for FHM Philippines Sex Confidential. Agcaoíli is known for being very open about sex, still a relatively taboo topic with most Filipinos.

Agcaoíli has a regular show on the ABS-CBN channel called Bida si Mister, Bida si Misis. She has also appeared in Sex Guru, the first ever Philippine sex-educational film.

Branded by her critics as just another “hot chick” lacking any real acting talent, Agcaoíli has since shattered that image by landing a villain role in Till Death Do Us Part on ABS-CBN. It has even been argued my many that she has outperformed the show’s lead actors because of her fabulous and somewhat comedic performance.

Very few “sexy stars”, as they are called in the Philippines, have attained what Agcaoíli has in just a couple of years. She is one of the few Philippine showbiz personalities who have achieved tri-media access and have so far been able to maintain it. It has thus been argued that she is “indeed a Hotbabe with a difference”.

Recent shows

This sexy actress Asia Agcaoili spearheads the Pinoy Big Brother show for the viewers of Studio 23. Her show, called Pinoy Big Brother: Si Kuya, KaBarkada Mo, not only features snippets from the primetime telecast the night before, but also features opinion polls both from the man on the street and those sending SMS, spoof segments (such as predictions from "prominent" fortune tellers and insider news from the "resident" deep penetration agent, a cockroach), and live feed from inside the house.

The show also has its original theme song called Pinoy Ako by Pinoy rock band Orange and Lemons. Some background music tracks used in the show are also based from this song. She also is one of the hosts of Breakfast on Studio 23 every Thursday and is a part of Vietnam Rose on ABS-CBN.
