Badgett Dale was a child actor who played Simon in the second film adaptation of Lord of the Flies, in 1987. Born on May 1, 1978, Badgett was the son of actors Grover Dale and Anita Morris. In 1990, he lost the starring role in the film Radio Flyer, which went to Elijah Wood instead. In 1994, his mother passed away from cancer. After these serious professional and personal setbacks, Badgett left the acting profession, but he returned triumphantly in 2003 with the film Nola and the TV series 24.

Trivia

Badgett Dale bears an uncanny resemblance to fellow actor Timothy Redwine. If they had not been born five years apart, they could pass for twins.
