Barry Hugh Crocker (born November 4, 1935, in Geelong, Victoria, Australia) is an Australian singer who has been performing for decades.

He sang the original recording of the theme song for the serial Australian drama, Neighbours, as well as composing some less orthodox songs such as: "My One Eyed Trouser Snake".

He also has had a semi successful career as an actor, most notably starring alongside Barry Humphries in the title role of The Adventures of Barry McKenzie and its sequel, "Barry McKenzie Hold His Own".

Rhyming Slang: The expression "Barry Crocker" (named after the singer) is also Australian rhyming slang for "shocker", as in "very bad effort". Take the following outstanding example from a fictional Rugby League commentary on the The Twelfth Man's Wired World of Sports:

:"Paul "Fatty" Vautin: And oh no, give yourself an upper-cut son, the pass to Meninga was never on, it's an absolute Barry Crocker of a pass to boot, and the Newcastle winger, Jamie Ainscough, Johnny-on-the-spot pounces on the ball at a zillion miles an hour and says, "you little Ronnie Coot*", and off he goes to score one of the easiest meat pies** he'll ever score.

"Ronnie Coot" = "beaut", an australasian rendition of "beauty".

"Meat Pie" = "try", the preferred method of scoring points in Rugby League.

In 2005 Crocker appeared on the Nine Network's This is Your Life.
