Belladonna (aka Bella, Bella Donna) is an American erotic actress (porn star) born Michelle Anne Sinclair on 21 May, 1981 in Biloxi, Mississippi. Belladonna grew up in Magna, Utah in a Mormon household. Her father was a retired Air Force captain and former bishop in the Mormon Church.

Belladonna got into the adult film industry after she moved to Los Angeles to become a nude model. When that didn't work out, she turned to pornography. She was formerly engaged to fellow porn actor Nacho Vidal. Belladonna got married to Aiden Kelly on April 11 2004.

Belladonna has a large Chinese dragon tattoo on the front of her left shoulder, snaking down over her left breast. When she performs in movies with a higher production value (for studios such as VCA and Hustler), she has been known to wear a variety of (frequently rather incongruous) garments that cover only her shoulders. She has nine other tattoos, including a sacred heart. While naturally a blonde, she frequently dyes her hair black. She also occasionally shaves her head or adopts a buzz cut hairstyle, donning wigs for some productions and going without for others. Another distinguishing characteristic is a noticeable gap in her front teeth.

Her career in the pornography business was followed for two years by a crew from ABC Television, culminating in a January 2003 interview with Diane Sawyer as part of a Primetime Thursday segment on pornography. Following its broadcast Belladonna condemned what she felt had been unfair treatment at the hands of Sawyer and the ABC staffers, saying the segment had portrayed her as a victim and that the interview was edited to convey the misleading impression that she had been forced to perform against her will. The interview has since been used by a number of anti-pornography pressure groups to support their case that pornography is exploitative of the women who appear in it; nevertheless Belladonna remains an active performer in the industry. She owns her own production company, Belladonna Entertainment, which produces both her own movies and is contracted (with distributor Evil Angel) to produce several movies directed by Belladonna.

She appears several times in the reality television series Family Business.

In 2005 she won the AVN Award for "Best All-Girl Feature" for her performance in The ConnASSeur. She did not attend the award ceremony, as she was pregnant with her first child. Her daughter Myla was born several days after the ceremony on January 10 2005, and photographs of mother and child were proudly displayed on Belladonna's (otherwise hard-core) website shortly afterward.

She often stars in anal sex themed adult films. She has performed double anal, and is also known for being one of the only adult actresses that can completely deep throat porn actor Lexington Steele. She has built a reputation as a living-legend in porn for her ability to perform in almost any gonzo-style theme in mainstream porn.
