| Berry Kroeger (October 16, 1912 - January 4, 1991) was a film and television actor. Kroeger had over 30 film credits including Act of Violence (1948), Gun Crazy (aka Deadly Is the Female) (1949) and an uncredited role as a village elder in Young Frankenstein (1974). He got his acting start on radio as an announcer and actor (playing for a time The Falcon and The Shadow). He was discovered by filmmaker William Wellman on the Broadway stage and he began appearing in films in 1948. Kroeger specialized in playing slimy bad guys. San Antonio, Texas-born actor appeared in dozens of television programs guest starring on shows including Get Smart (as "The Fat Man" a take off on actor Sydney Greenstreet) and The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
