Beth Cordingly (born 1 November 1977, Brighton) is a British actress most famous for her role as PC Kerry Young in TV police drama The Bill. Prior to this, she had appeared in the soap opera, Family Affairs as troubled teenager Sara Warrington — a lapdancer who blew most of her wages on cocaine. Cordingly's real name is Rebecca, and until recently she dated fellow actor Daniel MacPherson. Cordingly is a supporter of ChildLine and recently ran the London Marathon. Her father, David Cordingly, is a world-renowned expert on pirates and has written books and appeared in numerous documentaries on the subject.

Cordingly's character in The Bill was killed in October 2004 after being shot by PC Gabriel Kent. The actress then went on to appear in the comedy series Funland in 2005.
