Blake Sennett (b. 1973 in San Diego, California) is the guitarist and singer for indie rock bands Rilo Kiley and The Elected.

In addition to being a musician, Sennett was a child actor, appearing on the television shows Salute Your Shorts and Boy Meets World.

Sennett originally went by the names Blake Soper and Blake Swendson as an actor, but is credited in all recent works as Blake Sennett.

Sennett also was on Highway to Heaven, playing a young cancer patient. He is also related to jazz great Glenn Miller.

Sennett grew up in La Jolla, California. In the early to mid 90s, Sennett appeared in shows primarily marketed towards teens. During this period he ended up playing two big supporting roles of Ronnie Pinksy in Salute Your Shorts and Joseph 'Joey the Rat' Epstein on Boy Meets World. After Salute Your Shorts got cancelled and his role on Boy Meets World was written off, Sennett switched gears and began to focus on music.

Sennett formed the band Rilo Kiley in 1995 with former child-actress Jenny Lewis. In 2003, he founded a second band, The Elected.
