Bobby Deol (born 27 January 1967) is a popular Indian actor. His real name is Vijay Singh Deol. His father is the famous actor Dharmendra. Both his brother Sunny Deol and has two half-sisters Ahana Deol and Esha Deol who acts in Bollywood movies.

Bollywood Career

Bobby made his debut with the film Barsaat alongside Twinkle Khanna. He won the Filmfare Best Debut Award. His breakthrough role came in the murder mystery Gupt: The Hidden Truth
. The film was a huge hit and enhanced him in the industry.

He has gone on to do romantic roles rather than action roles which is a huge contrast to his father and brother. His films usually do reasonably well at the box office and he has given many good performances, notably Ajnabee, Soldier and Humraaz.

He would go on to act in a film which had the same name as his debut film. The film starred Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu as the leading ladies. It was received averagely with mixed reviews.

Personal life

Bobby is married to Tanya Ahuja; they have two children. His eldest son's name is Aryaman. His second son was born November 5 2004 and is named "Dharam" after his grandfather. He is said to be fond of wearing sunglasses.

He is good friends with his co-star Akshay Kumar, the husband of Twinkle Khanna.
