Boman Irani is an Indian film and theater star.

He started his career as a photographer, but soon expanded to theater with a first cameo in Alyque Padamsee's Roshni and a double role opposite Pearl Padamsee in Raell Padamsee's Family Ties.

His most widely acclaimed role to date was as Dr. J.C. Asthana, a medical school dean and foil to Sanjay Dutt's character in Munnabhai M.B.B.S.
