Brie Larson (born Brianne Sidonie Desaulniers on October 1, 1989 in Sacramento, California) is an American actress and pop singer. She attended the American Conservatory Theater as one of their youngest students ever. She moved to Los Angeles where she worked on The Tonight Show'. Soon after, she was cast in two back-to-back television series, Schimmel(FOX) and Raising Dad(The WB). She later starred in the summer film with Alexa Vega titled 'SleepOver'.

Brie took time off to record her first album with Casablanca Records. Her debut record is Finally Out of P.E., which spawned the single "She Said", which made #16 in the TRL countdown and was an MTV regular. Along came the follow up single "Life After You". A video has not been made yet, but might not be made because of the record has sold only 5,000 copies since it´s release on October 2005

In Summer 2005, Brie went on tour opening for Jesse McCartney
while working on the the NewLine/Walden Media film titled 'Hoot' in which she played the one of the leading role characters 'Beatrice.' 'Hoot' is slated for theatrical release in spring 2006.
