| Brinsley Forde is best known as one of the founding members of the reggae band Aswad. Prior to this, he had been a child actor in the children's TV series Here Come the Double Deckers. In 1980 he starred in the film Babylon (directed by Franco Rosso), as "Blue" - a disenfranchised black youth who deejayed on a south London reggae soundsystem. He now presents the 6 Music radio shows "Lively Up Yourself" and "Dub Bashment".
