Buck Angel is an American adult film star, well-known as one of the only, if not the only female-to-male transsexual (FTM) porn stars currently performing.

Life as a female

Growing up, Buck Angel was a tomboy. Due to the fact that there was very little discussion of sexual reassignment surgery, she was not aware that this was an option. Considered by some to be quite lovely, she began work as a professional model.

Buck today, looking back on these years, states that he "really fucking hated it." Then, he saw his first film with a FTM transsexual, and his life changed.

Transition to Buck Angel, Adult Film Star

He began hormone treatments, and stayed on that regimen for two years. Then he had his breasts removed, and truly began to live as a man. A natural perfutormer, Buck began to star in adult fetish films. As he has not had complete gender reassignment surgery and still possesses female genitalia, he neatly fit into a niche that was lacking at the time. He went on to become quite successful.

FTM success

Finding that there weren't many FTM actors like himself in the market, he then started a website, transexual-man.com , and his career skyrocketed.

He currently has signed a deal with Robert Hill Releasing, and is slated to star in 12 new FTM films. The first, "Buck's Beaver", was nominated for an AVN award, the first such nomination in adult film history. His stated goal is not to produce FTM porn as a "freak show," but instead to bring it to the mainstream porn industry. He has also made a movie with Allanah Starr, making the world's first FTM and MTF sex scene.
