| Bud Yorkin (born in Washington, Pennsylvania on February 22, 1926) is an American producer/director/writer/actor. He directed and produced the innovative 1958 TV special An Evening With Fred Astaire, which won nine Emmy Awards. In the 1970s, with collaborator Norman Lear, he created the TV hits All in the Family, Maude, and Sanford and Son. He was also an executive producer on the 1982 film Blade Runner and was involved in adding the controversial happy ending.
