He has acted in over one hundred independent films, as well as a number of television roles. His father, Malcolm, worked at the makeup department of Paramount Pictures under Wally Westmore and introduced Camden to makeup effects at an early age. Toy was one of the founding members and artistic director of the Obie Award-winning NADA in New York City. After moving to Los Angeles, he appeared on Buffy The Vampire Slayer's episode "Hush" in season four as the lead "Gentleman." In season seven, he played the skin-eating demon Gnarl in "Same Time, Same Place", and had a recurring role of the "Ubervamp" Turok-Han.
