Carson Lee Kressley (born November 11, 1969 in Allentown, Pennsylvania) is the fashion expert on the American television program Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. The show debuted in 2003 on the Bravo cable television network.

College years

Kressley graduated from Gettysburg College in 1991, with Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude honors. While at Gettysburg College, Kressley became a brother of Alpha Phi Omega. He worked for Ralph Lauren from 1994 until 2002.

He was a member of the U.S. World Cup Saddle Seat equitation team.

Author and actor

In 2005, he made his acting debut in the movie "The Perfect Man."

He is the author of the 2004 book Off The Cuff: The essential style guide for men and the women who love them (ISBN 0525948368). He also has authored a children's book "You're Different and That's SUPER", the story of a unicorn among a herd of colts. He co-authored Queer Eye for the Straight Guy in 2003.

Kressley resides in New York City. He is active in numerous gay-rights and health-related charities.

It has been announced that Kressley will appear on the live-broadcast Miss USA pageant as a celebrity commentator who will enhance the broadcast with his commentary on everything from the ladies gowns and their beauty looks to their on-stage presentation.
