| Cate Sweeney is an English author and playwright, whose plays have been produced around the country. Her first novel, Selfish Jean, is due to be released by Macmillan New Writing in April 2006. Sweeney is involved in a number of different projects, including volunteering for a theatre group called Shed:MK, a group that integrates fully able and disabled children to stage drama. She has written many of their plays.
