Charlotte d'Amboise (May 11, 1964) is a professional dancer and actor on the stage, in movies, and on television.

D'Amboise was born in New York City, the daughter of Jacques D'Amboise, a dancer and an actor, and Carolyn George, a dancer. She is the twin sister of Cate d'Ambroise and sister to Christopher D'Amboise, an actor and dancer. She is the wife of Terrence Mann
, an actor, a dancer, and a director, who originated the role of "The Beast" in Broadway's Beauty and the Beast. She and her husband have two daughters.

D'Amboise mader her Broadway debut in the musical Cats in 1983. She has also performed in the following shows:
  • Song and Dance (1985)
  • Carrie
    (1988)
  • Jerome Robbins' Broadway (1989)
  • Damn Yankees
    (1995)
  • Chicago (1999)
  • Contact (2001)
  • Can Can (2004) and
  • Sweet Charity
    (2005).
D'Amboise has probably become most familiar to audiences for her portrayal of Roxie Hart in the 1996 revival of Chicago. D'Amboise originated the role of Roxie Hart in the first national tour in 1997 before making her first appearance with the New York Company in 1999. Since her first appearance, D'Amboise has been a frequent part of the show, playing the role of Roxie Hart on numerous occasions almost every year from 2001 through 2006.

In 1989 d'Amboise was nominated for a Tony Award as Best Actress in a Musical for her role in
Jerome Robbins' Broadway. Among the awards that d'Amboise has received were the 1997 Astaire Award for Achievement in Dance for Damn Yankees and the 1998 Bay Area Theatre Circle Award for her performance in Chicago. Her other awards are
  • L.A. Ovation Award for Leading Actress in a Musical (1998) for Chicago
  • Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for Leading Performance (1998)for Chicago
  • TDF/Astaire Special Award (2005), for Chicago and Sweet Charity.
D'Amboise substituted for Christina Applegate
in the revival of "Sweet Charity" in Boston and the first few weeks on Broadway in the spring of 2005 following Applegate's foot injury which almost cancelled the entire production.

D'Ambroise also appeared in films such as
American Blue Note, Just Off The Coast, and The Preacher's Wife. Her television credits include parts in Neon Jungle, The In Crowd, Lost in the Bermuda Triangle, Law & Order, and a taped performance of the Broadway musical Contact''.

In January of 2006 it was announced that Charlotte D'Amboise will be playing "Cassie" in the revival of "A Chorus Line" scheduled to open in San Francisco in the summer of 2006 and will be playing New York in the fall of 2006.
