Chris Hemsworth (born August 11, 1983 in Melbourne) is an Australian actor who plays Kim Hyde on the television show, Home and Away. Recently, he was romantically involved with castmate Isabel Lucas, who plays Tasha but they broke up in october 2005 but are now back together again after a 2month break.

In November 2005, whilst in Perth for the Seven Perth Telethon, he announced he was planning to quit the show at the end of his current three-year contract, which expires in late 2006.

He is currently living in the Upper North Shore Area.

He used to live in Melbourne near Phillip Island before coming to Sydney to live and work on Home and Away.

As a child, he is to travel a lot (just like his character a.k.a Kim Hyde used to do on H & A) because of his parents' jobs.
