Christie-Ayrna Lynne Hayes (born October 31, 1986) is an Australian actress on the television series Home and Away.

In 2000, she was cast as "Kirsty" her character of 5 years that brought her fame. Was seriously considered for the role of "Dani", but told producers she wasn't comfortable playing 16 at that age. she was 13.

Was the first person to be cast in her on screen "Sutherland" family.

She played both Kirsty Phillips (née Sutherland) and Laura DeGroot (the two characters were twin sisters seperated at birth) on the long-running series from 2000 to 2005.

In 2003, "Youth week" elected her as "Youth ambassador of Australia" for encouraging youth across Australia to realise their creativity. She was 16.

She moved into her "beautiful flat" ("girlfriend" transcript) to live on her own at 16 years old.

Made it down to the final two actresses for the part of "Miranda" in the Fox 2000 feature film "Flicka" in LA after being there for only 3 weeks. (Mindy marrin casting)

Was offered a major recording contract, but turned it down. (Reportedly first single She was singing with cuban children)

She trained in Gymnastics between the ages of 6 and 12.

She is signed with the famous agencys - Icon/Shanahan management and (has interest) with CAA. She will begin filming this year. (2006)

She learnt to play the flute and read music when she was 8.

Has been compared to have a "striking resemblence" to Elle Macpherson in the Moree Times and in many articles.

Left "Home and away" in 2005 to travel and do films.

Gave up modelling to focus on acting, although she was signed on the spot as a model.

Divides time between LA and Sydney, Australia.
