Christina Vidal (born November 18, 1981 in Whitestone, Queens) is an American film and television actress. She played Taina Morales on in the Nickelodeon show Taina. Vidal, like her character on the show, is of Puerto Rican decent.

Vidal, who used to take the train to school in the Queens area of Whitestone, where she grew up, did not plan on becoming an actress when she was growing up. Instead, she wanted to be a singer and dancer, and by the age of nine, she was quite experienced in front of the cameras, but only with her dancing and singing. When young Vidal was 17, She was in a band called Gemstone, but not as a singer. The frontwoman of Gemstone was Jade Villalon, Now the front woman of Sweetbox Then, one of her teachers told her there was an audition for a movie, Life with Mikey, starring Michael J. Fox, and she auditioned, getting the part of Angie Vega in it.

Apart from being Puerto Rican and having to take a train to school, Christina and her character Taina share one more trait: Like Taina, Christina used to attend the Performing Arts School Of New York when she was younger.
