| Christopher John George (February 25 1929 - November 29 1983) was an American actor born in Royal Oak, Michigan. Mr. George was best known for his role in 60's T.V. series, The Rat Patrol, and played the Sheriff in the John Wayne movie Chisum. Mr. George's was married to actress Linda Day George and his niece is Wheel of Fortune hostess Vanna White. On his passing in 1983, Christopher George was interred in the Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles.
