| Chistopher Mayer is the name of two different actors. The American actor portrayed Vance Duke, one of the new Duke Boys, in the 1983 season of The Dukes of Hazzard. He was born 21 April 1955 in
New York, New York, USA. Christopher Mayer went on to work lightly in television and movies into the early 2000's, often adopting the stage name of Chip Mayer, including a stint on the soap opera, "Santa Barbara." He and actress Teri Copley share a daughter, Ashley, born in the early 1980s.
