Christy Carlson Romano (born March 20, 1984) is an actress who is a native of Milford, Connecticut, best known for her role in the animated Kim Possible.CareerRomano moved to Atlanta, Georgia as a child, and landed her first acting job at the Atlanta production of Annie. In 2002, Romano became the first person to act in three Disney Channel projects simultaneously, complementing her work at Even Stevens with a starring role in a movie named Cadet Kelly (alongside Lizzie McGuire star Hilary Duff) and voice acting as to Kim Possible. She is also the voice of Yuffie Kisaragi in the Disney/Square Enix video games Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, as well as the CGI movie Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Romano finished a 31 week run of playing Belle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast on Broadway on September 12, 2004. An estimated 400,000 people saw her in this role. On February 22, 2005 Christy won the very first Connecticut's Finest award.Personal lifeRomano is currently attending Columbia University’s Barnard College, where she is studying English and International relations. Milford Mayor James Richetelli Jr. named February 22nd, 2005 as Christy Carlson Romano Day, and she received the "Connecticut's Finest Citizen Award".Trivia

MusicWhile working in Disney, Romano has recorded songs in the soundtracks of some Disney movies & TV series like Kim Possible and Teacher's Pet.
