Chuck Wagner (born June 20,1958 in Nashville, Tennessee, USA) is an American actor who has starred on television. He is best known for his role in the short-lived science fiction TV series Automan as the title character. He also starred on the soap opera General Hospital as Randall Thompson in 1987. Chuck has made guest appearances on TV shows, such as The Dukes of Hazzard, Dynasty, Matlock (television series), and As the World Turns. Chuck Wagner has also had a long career in musical theater. Notable moments include The Three Musketeers with Brent Spiner and starring as the original Dr. Jekyll in the musical Jekyll and Hyde. He also played Beast in the Broadway production of Beauty and the Beast, and was part of the the original cast of Into the Woods (as Rapunzel's Prince), which won the Grammy Award for Best Musical Cast Show Album.
