| Cirroc Lofton, born August 7, 1978 at Los Angeles, California, is an American actor, who started his career at 9 years old with many minor roles, building up to playing Jake Sisko on the successful TV series Star Trek: Deep Space 9, son of Captain Benjamin Sisko, his first major role on a TV series. He now stars in the Showtime series The Hoop Life. Various June 2005 media reports indicated Lofton was finishing up production on a rap music CD, which was scheduled to be available in September 2005. However, as of 2006 this planned disc has yet to materialize.
