Connie Chiu is one of the few famous people born with albinism. Connie Chiu is an actress who starred in the movie "stalker" directed by Alex Coburn. In the film, Connie plays the role of a chinese albino with striking violet eyes. She is the only albino model of the world. Although born in Hong Kong in 1969, Chiu moved at the age of seven with her family to Sweden. Since the rest of the family have Chinese characteristics, it was hard to accept the birth of a Chinese albino. Her whole life she wore sunglasses to hide her eyes from the damaging ultra-violet rays. Her hands are said to be so fine that they show the blue veins through the skin. The harsh sun burned her pale skin untill the family traveled to Sweden where the sun's rays were kinder.
