Courtney Webb is a British child actress. She was born on January 20, 1988 to a Colombian mother and English/Japanese father. Courtney spent the first two years of her life in Kyoto were she learnt to speak fluent Japanese.

Courtney has released eleven movies in her 18 years. She has also established herself as a voice-over actress. In addition to doing movies she performs in theatre shows and has performed in Macbeth at The Playhouse Theatre in Brighton. She also attends BRIT School for the Performing Arts.

Biography

The beginning

Courtney Webb started acting at the age of five. She appeared in The West End production of Tale of Two Cities which she won Best New Comer at The UK Theatre Association by the age of nine she was offered a stint as a happy go lucky McDonald's kid which went on for new more years in her career. She moved on by the age of 11 to B movies such as Girl she later got a role in Blood Bath the movie at the age of 14. Which she won 4 awards for including Best Actress and Newcomer.

Solidifying her Career

At the age of 15, Courtney went to study Japanese Theatre in Tokyo. While there she was offered the chance to double for Takako Fuji in The Grudge. She was also used as a extra and had a small scene with no make up which was later cut. In 2004, Courtney appeared in El Rey, a movie about Colombian gangsters which got her a nomination at The Colombian Movie Awards. She lost to Catalina Sandino Moreno. Courtney also voiced anime shows such as Diamond Daydreams and also voiced on British television, most notably 2DTV

Current Work

At the moment Webb is in negotiations to play Miku Hinasaki in the Fatal Frame series, in addition to The Cottage with Jennifer Ellison. She has also filmed a part in Forbidden Siren. Webb is also spending three months in Japan to improve her Japanese so she can advance in the Japanese movie industry.
