| David Patrick Kelly (b. January 19, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan, USA) is an American character actor who has been in several films, including some major roles. Kelly is well-known for playing Luther in the 1979 classic film The Warriors, where he screeches the famous line, "Warriors, come out to play-ee-ay!!"; he also played a character named Luther in the 1982 hit film 48 Hrs. His film credits include Commando, Crooklyn, Dreamscape, The Adventures of Ford Fairlane, K-PAX (film), and his most recent film, The Longest Yard (2005). His largest television role was Jerry Horne on Twin Peaks; his television guest appearances include Moonlighting, Spenser: For Hire, and Third Watch. He frequently performs at the Hartford Stage Company in Hartford, Connecticut.
