| David Ruprecht is an American Actor/Writer best known for his work on the Lifetime channel and as host of the syndicated game show, Supermarket Sweep. Ruprecht has previously been spotted in the audience of the The Price Is Right, the longest-running American television game show, in order to study the emceeing routines of legendary TPIR host Bob Barker. As of March 2006, he is the host of the live version of the stage game as played in Atlantic City (Bally's hotel). The Supermarket Sweep host also played Janet Wood's fiancé, Philip Dawson, a reocurring character, in the final season of the popular ABC sitcom, Three's Company which aired its last episode in 1984.
