Deanna Casaluce (born February 7, 1986 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian actress of Italian descent most noted for playing the character Alex Nunez on Degrassi: The Next Generation.

Alex is portrayed as a punk, who hangs out with her friends Jay and Sean. After Rick is killed in Time Stands Still, a more sensitive side of Alex is shown when she is seen implying to Jay he needs to admit he rigged the quiz show trap. Deanna has just been given an official starring credit on Degrassi for season 5. She has guest starred in every episode she has appeared in up until season 5. She has promised we will learn a lot more about Alex this season too, including questioning her sexuality and taking her relationship with Paige (Lauren Collins) to a higher level.
