| Dennis Day (May 21, 1916 - June 22, 1988) Irish American singer. He was born Owen Patrick McNulty. He was married to his wife, Peggy McNulty, from 1948 until his death. They had nine children. One of his sisters-in-law was actress/singer, Ann Blyth. He appeared for several years on Jack Benny's radio and television shows. Besides singing, Dennis Day was an excellent mimic, and did many imitations on the Benny program. He served in the US Navy as a Lieutenant during World War II. He died at age 72 in Los Angeles, California from Lou Gehrig's disease.
