| Derek Waring (born 26 April 1930) is an actor and was husband of Dorothy Tutin. Amongst his varied roles were parts in television programs The Professionals, Doctor Who (Castrovalva in 1982), Callan (TV series), Dixon of Dock Green, The New Avengers, Take the High Road, Z Cars, The Adventures of Robin Hood and The Adventures of Sir Lancelot. He was also something of a comic actor, appearing in many sitcoms during the 1970s and 1980s, some written by his brother Richard Waring.
