Actors - Don Stroud


Don Stroud (born 1 September 1943) is one of the most recognizable actors of the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. He co-starred with Clint Eastwood
in two films, Coogan's Bluff
in 1968 and Joe Kidd in 1972. He co-starred in The Buddy Holly Story
(1978). He played the adversary to James Bond in the 1989 film Licence to Kill
. And, he performed the role of Detective Pat Chambers in the television series Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer.

Stroud is the son of vaudeville great Clarence Stroud, of the Stroud Twins, and singer Ann McCormack, who toured the world with Frank Sinatra
. He grew up on the beaches of Hawaii, where he was discovered by actor Troy Donahue
when he was filming the television series Hawaiian Eye. Soon after this Stroud relocated to Hollywood and has starred in over 100 movies and 175 television shows to date.
