Dorothy Mays is an American model and actress. She was chosen as Playboy's Playmate of the Month in July, 1979. She is a native of Linthicum, Maryland and a 1974 Andover High School graduate. She listed her turn-ons: the beach, good friends, writing, and reading. And her turn-offs: jealousy, materialistic people and poor organization. At the movies she liked "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," "Midnight Express" and "Close Encounters of the Third Kind." And on the small screen, she enjoyed "Mork and Mindy," "Saturday Night Live" and "60 Minutes." She hoped one day to own a farm, raise horses and cows, grow her own vegetables and "live happily ever after." Her official goal was "to open up the highest-quality men's hairstyling shop in Maryland."
